Support the Arts
Founded on the spirit of philanthropy, Well Fargo Center for the Arts is guided by its mission to enrich, educate, and entertain. What began with the non-profit Center’s 12 founding families in 1981 has grown into a vibrant and extensive group of members, donors, and sponsors who represent the life-blood of the organization. Even with the support of our ticket-buying audience, the Arts Center relies on generous charitable contributions from our community. This financial support is critical to sustain the artistic excellence of our performances, and to help serve the broadest possible audience with innovative education and community programs.
We Rely on Your Support
The following charts reflect Income Sources and Contributed Income for the Center.

Members
Members enable us to present world-class performances in music, dance, theater, renowned speakers, and comedy; reach out to the community with nationally recognized arts education programs; provide a home to six resident companies in support of the arts in our community; and bring new works to life.
Corporate Partners
Corporate Partners provide essential funding to sustain the Arts Center’s programming and operations, while also aligning their companies with the North Bay's premier performing arts presenter.
Planned Gifts
Gifted to the community in 1981 by a generous group of local business and community leaders, Wells Fargo Center for the Arts is built upon the spirit of philanthropy. Members of the Arts Center’s Heritage Society continue this legacy by providing for the Arts Center’s future through planned gifts that also have specific tax advantages.
Support Education
Each year, Wells Fargo Center for the Arts provides nationally recognized education programs to more than 30,000 children and adults. The Center’s school shows, Artists in the Schools mini-residencies, Music For Schools instrument lending library, and professional development classes for teachers play a vital role to bridge the arts and education in our community, and to keep the arts alive for the next generation.
