Many Hands Make Light Work
Three Cheers for Our Volunteers!
The saying “many hands make light work” rings true every day at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts. The Center relies on support from hundreds of volunteers.
“I just love the energy and sense of community that I feel when I’m here,” says volunteer Mary Liberatore, who works with the Center’s Luther Burbank Memorial Foundation Guild. “I’ve loved and participated in the arts my whole life and I don’t intend to stop now.”
Center volunteers include ushers who seat patrons and attend to their needs at shows and events, guild members who serve food and beverages in the lobby, docents visiting schools on behalf of our education program, aids who help families to make arts and crafts together prior to shows, administrative volunteers who support Center operations and programs, and last but certainly not least, the Center’s volunteer board of directors who provide essential oversight and leadership.
We salute our 300-plus volunteers who provide tens-of-thousands of dollars in donated services annually.
Thank you! We couldn’t do it without you!
